The all-new Nissan Magnite has earned a full 5-star safety rating from the Global New Car Assessment Program (GNCAP), making it one of the safest options in its segment. The vehicle achieved a perfect 5-star score for adult occupant protection and 3 stars for child protection.
According to Richard Woods, CEO of GNCAP, this result reflects Nissan's strong commitment to improving safety performance in a short time frame and demonstrates what can be accomplished when a manufacturer fully engages with NCAP standards.
The Magnite underwent rigorous crash tests evaluating adult and child protection, safety assist systems, and pedestrian safety. It delivered strong results across all categories, thanks to a reinforced body structure featuring 67% high-tensile steel, six airbags, an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and Vehicle Dynamic Control.

Leon Dorsers, Executive Vice President of Nissan for Africa, the Middle East, India, and Europe & Oceania (AMIEO), said this recognition is "highly rewarding" and reinforces the brand’s priority of making safety a core focus across all its models.
The Middle East is the first region in the world to receive the left-hand drive version of the Magnite, unveiled in Riyadh in March 2025. The model is also being exported to markets in Africa and Southeast Asia. All variants come equipped with over 40 standard safety features, including ISOFIX anchor points for child seats, three-point seatbelts for all seating positions, seatbelt reminder indicators, child safety locks, and rear parking sensors.
