Saudi Arabian Coffee

Yemeni Ginger Coffee

Mix sugar, egg yolks, and vanilla together until the mixture becomes pale and creamy. Gradually add cornstarch and flour while stirring until smooth.
Combine Arabic coffee, date molasses, and milk in a pot. Place on low heat and stir until boiling. Pour half of this mixture into the egg yolk mixture and blend thoroughly until smooth.
Return the mixture to high heat and stir quickly until it boils again. Pour into a flat dish, cover with plastic wrap, and let cool completely.
Whip the whipped cream and cream pastry together until light and fluffy. Fill the dish with the date cream mixture and decorate with chocolate chips.
