Summary:
Seeking an Electrical Engineer to support procurement, validate documentation, attend FAT/SAT, and assist with construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting on an FLNG Project.
Highlights:
1. Support procurement of electrical packages and vendor document review
2. Experience in marine/retrofit, E-House (including HVAC), and Oil & Gas
3. Execute and check calculation notes (ETAP or equivalent)
In the framework of a FLNG Project, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer for one of our clients.
The role of the Electrical Engineer includes the following aspects:
Support procurement of electrical packages : technical bid evaluations, vendor documents review (during bid phase and during execution), fabrication follow-up.
Comment and validate documentation issued by Engineering Contractor.
Attend FAT/SAT.
Support during construction and pre-commissioning. Address site queries.
Assist for site commissioning and start-up as required.
Requirements
Graduate Engineer (ideally electrical engineering)
English speaking. French will be highly appreciated.
8 years experience minimum
Required experiences:
Experience in marine / retrofit (FSO, FPSO) …
Experience with E-House, including HVAC
Experience in Oil & Gas, either for an engineering company, or for an EPC Contractor
Experience in the follow up of Vendors for electrical Equipments (HV &LV switchgears, transformers, UPS, bulk items) and E-house
Experience in construction follow-up
Experience in precommissioning, commissioning & troubleshooting is a strong plus.
Able to execute and check calculation notes (with ETAP software or equivalent) for cable sizing, short-ciruit, motor starting
Team player – Proactive - Good problem solving and analytical skills - Excellent written and presentation skills

Position based in Dubai for about 2 years with missions in Gabon at the end of the project for site commissioning activities.
