We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team specializing in gym and fitness equipment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and fitness, excellent sales skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging with customers, understanding their fitness needs, recommending suitable equipment, and driving sales while maintaining strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in the showroom & outside at various business locations, providing product knowledge and personalized recommendations. Develop a strong understanding of gym equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, strength machines, free weights, and accessories. Demonstrate equipment functions and features to customers. Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business. Handle customer inquiries, quotes, and follow-ups in a professional and timely manner. Assist in merchandising, inventory management, and maintaining showroom appearance. Stay updated with fitness industry trends and competitor offerings. Support marketing campaigns, in-store promotions, and product launches. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in retail sales (fitness, sports, or lifestyle products preferred). Knowledge and personal interest in fitness, wellness, or gym training (advantageous). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain technical features of equipment in simple terms. Goal-oriented with strong negotiation and closing skills. Computer literacy (MS Office, CRM, POS systems). Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
