Description

We are seeking an experienced Red Hat Project Manager to lead and oversee projects related to Red Hat OpenShift, OpenStack, and cloud infrastructure. This role involves managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful implementation of Red Hat solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in cloud technologies, excellent leadership skills, and experience with Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Red Hat OpenShift/OpenStack projects. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders. Manage project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies. Ensure alignment with business objectives and IT strategies. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and DevOps teams to drive project success. Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, roadmaps, and status updates. Allocate resources effectively and track project budgets. Implement and oversee Agile/Scrum practices for project management. Coordinate with vendors, partners, and third-party service providers. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ensure compliance with security, governance, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in project management, particularly in IT and cloud infrastructure. Strong knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, OpenStack, Linux environments, and Kubernetes. Experience with cloud computing, containerization, and DevOps methodologies. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project, Asana). Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and hybrid cloud environments. Experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies. Red Hat Certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift, Red Hat OpenStack Administrator) are a plus. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are preferred.
