• Learn & practice the preparation of the exisitng menu items. Act as a Business countinuity support whenever necessary. • Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, ensuring each item meets high standards of taste and presentation. • Ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of all pastry items, conducting regular taste tests and visual inspections. • Monitor stock levels of ingredients, assist in ordering supplies of food and non food items, and manage inventory to ensure smooth kitchen operations. • Collaborate with the head pastry chef or CDP to develop new pastry recipes and menu items, considering seasonality, dietary restrictions, and customer preferences. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhere to food safety standards, and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations. • Take care of pastry equipment, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and in good working order. • Informs the team about cost optimization and the reduction of raw material wastage the best possible way to reduce the wastages. • To take proper inventory of food items in the section in on behalf of the Manager/ management. • To inform daily to the Executive Pastry Chef on all relevant information on operational matters if necessary. • Follow all other safety regulations and company policy in accordance with UAE safety regulations.
