Role Overview
The Executive Chef at the Coffee will lead the creative and operational direction of the kitchen, designing a food menu that complements our specialty coffee experience. This role requires passion for innovation, strong leadership, and the ability to create an Instagram-worthy café food experience that aligns with Coffee’s modern and creative identity.

Key Responsibilities
Menu Creation & Innovation
• Develop and design seasonal menus that pair perfectly with specialty coffee.
• Create signature breakfast, brunch, and pastry items that are visually striking and social-media friendly.
• Innovate with flavors, plating, and presentation to enhance the brand identity.
Kitchen Operations & Quality Control
• Oversee daily food preparation and ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen organization, cleanliness, and workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with baristas to create food & beverage pairings and special promotions.
Team Leadership
• Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, building a creative and motivated team.
• Develop schedules and allocate tasks effectively.
• Encourage innovation and maintain a positive kitchen culture.
Financial & Inventory Management
• Monitor food cost, wastage, and portion control to maximize profitability.
• Manage vendor relationships and order supplies while maintaining stock control.
• Work within allocated budgets and contribute to achieving financial targets.
Health & Safety Compliance
• Enforce HACCP and UAE food safety regulations at all times.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and safe to use.
• Conduct regular hygiene checks and staff training.

Qualifications & Skills
• Proven experience as an Executive Chef / Head Chef in a café, casual dining, or boutique hospitality setting.
• Culinary degree or professional training preferred.
• Strong creativity with experience in brunch-style and coffee-accompaniment menus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food costing, stock management, and supplier coordination.
• Passion for food trends, visual presentation, and customer experience.
