Key Responsibilities: VAT & Documentation Support: · Prepare and manage VAT refund applications for both companies and individuals; · Verify documents (invoices, contracts, payments) to ensure FTA compliance; · Communicate with the FTA, tax advisors, and government entities regarding VAT refunds; · Track deadlines, monitor refund status, and report progress to management; · Maintain organized archives of VAT documentation and ensure completeness of records. Financial & Operational Tasks: · Handle daily transactions: invoicing, receipts, collections, and maintaining aging reports; · Update and maintain tracking tables for deals, payments, properties, and client balances; · Monitor cash flow: allocate incoming payments, reconcile debits and credits. Requirements: · Minimum 3 years of experience in operational accounting, reporting, or VAT processing; · Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, including registration and refund procedures; · Understanding of UAE corporate tax frameworks and compliance practices; · Solid foundation in accounting and management reporting principles; · Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and responsibility for meeting deadlines; · Proficiency in Excel - training can be provided if needed; · Prior experience in real estate or property development is a strong advantage. Business-level English proficiency — both written and spoken.

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in monthly closings, financial reporting, audit preparation, and supporting budget activities. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports. Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.
