Ensure compliance with quality standards and maintain documentation CMM Operator/Quality Inspector Job Summary: The CMM Operator / Quality Inspector is responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspection of components using CMM and conventional measuring instruments to ensure compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Operate CMM (Manual/DCC) for inspection of machined parts. • Perform first article inspection (FAI), in-process inspection, and final inspection. • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications. • Develop, run and modify CMM programs (if applicable). • Prepare and maintain inspection reports. • Ensure calibration status of measuring instruments before use. • Identify non-conforming products (NCR) and report to the QA Manager. • Maintain proper documentation as per QMS requirements. • Ensure proper housekeeping and safe handling of equipment. • Coordinate with the production team for quality improvements. ________________________________________ Compliance & Documentation: • Maintain proper quality records. • Support internal and external audits. • Follow ISO quality system procedures. ________________________________________ Required Qualifications: • Diploma / ITI / Engineering in Mechanical or related field. • 2–5 years of experience in CMM operation. • Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading. • Basic Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO45001:2018 quality system requirements. ________________________________________ Skills Required: • Strong understanding of dimensional measurement techniques. • Attention to detail and analytical ability. • Good communication skills. • Basic computer knowledge (E-mail, Excel, reporting). • Problem-solving skills.
