The senior water treatment technician is responsible for ensuring compliance with cGMP principles, ISO standards, and EHS (environment, health & safety) requirements, maintaining operations in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. In this role, the senior water treatment technician will oversee industrial and pharmaceutical utility systems within Julphar facilities. This includes identifying improvement opportunities and developing targeted action plans to enhance compliance and operational excellence. The senior water treatment technician will collaborate with the utilities manager, team leaders, engineers, and fellow technicians to execute design and engineering projects, ensuring they are completed within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Additionally, the role includes providing technical guidance and leadership to colleagues, ensuring thoroughness, accuracy, and reliability in all aspects of plant and equipment operation and maintenance. Key responsibilities & key result areas Strong proficiency in working with EQMS, EDMS, and SAP systems. Demonstrated expertise in performing operations and maintenance tasks both independently and collaboratively within a team. Responsible for providing support during non-standard working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by operational needs. Skilled in reviewing and interpreting engineering specifications and technical drawings. Solid experience in maintaining utility equipment, including both mechanical and electrical systems such as instrument air, process air, special gases (oxygen, LPG, nitrogen), RO, WFI, clean steam, and industrial steam systems. Proficient in maintaining utility system components such as pumps, pressure and temperature gauges / transmitters, flow meters, and steam traps. Capable of identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies. Accountable for ensuring equipment efficiency in alignment with KPIs and process compliance requirements. Qualifications / key experiences / functional knowledge requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industries. Well-developed skills in the conceptualization, planning, and management of engineering projects. In-depth knowledge of industrial and pharmaceutical utilities maintenance, including clean steam generators (CSG), water for injection (WFI), boilers, gas systems, water treatment plants and networks, and compressed air systems.

Position: HVAC or MEP Technician Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Key Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including split units, ducted units, VRF/VRV systems, package units, and chillers. • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and retail properties. • Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical panels, wiring, lighting, switches, sockets, pumps, motors, and plumbing lines. • Perform preventive maintenance: filter cleaning, coil washing, refrigerant top-up, and thermostat calibration. • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in AC and refrigeration systems. • Replace compressors, fan motors, capacitors, and control boards. • Pressure test and vacuum refrigerant lines to ensure leak-free installations. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals for accurate troubleshooting and installations. • Participate in the company’s emergency call-out program on a rotational basis. • Ensure UAE safety standards and building codes are followed in all HVAC work. • Conduct inspections and generate detailed service reports. • Assist in providing training for other team members. • Serve as part of the emergency response team when required. • Maintain availability to work on weekends and public holidays if needed. • Work independently or as part of a team depending on job requirements. • Keep inventory of supplies and request/order replacements as required. • Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in good condition. • Support inspections and quality checks as per regulatory and client standards. • Maintain service reports and documentation for all completed work. • Maintain polite and professional communication with clients. • Maintain a professional appearance and follow company etiquette (uniform, grooming, punctuality). Qualifications & Experience • ITI / Diploma in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent. • ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or MEP discipline. • Minimum 5-7 years’ UAE experience in HVAC installation and maintenance. • Hands-on experience with VRF/VRV systems, chillers, and package units preferred. • Familiarity with HVAC control wiring and basic BMS systems. • Refrigerant handling certification is a plus. • Good conduct certificate from local authority • UAE driving license preferred. • Good communication skills in English Competitive salary based on experience with company visa, accommodation, transportation and benefits as per UAE labour law

Job Description Implement the PPM program and schedule of all kitchen and laundry equipment in the hotel. Follow up on local authority requirement maintenance plan for kitchen equipment. Keep record and coordinate with the hygiene manager to ensure all requirements are fulfilled for HACCP. Attend to repairs and maintenance of laundry equipment and kitchen equipment - both electric and gas. Be responsible for operation, repairs, and maintenance of all cold rooms, fridge units, ice machines, and other refrigerated systems. Be responsible for operation, repairs, and maintenance of all ovens, dishwashers, stoves, and other electric and gas equipment in the kitchen. Provide assistance/technical know-how in the installation of new or additional kitchen equipment. Conduct routine inspections of kitchen and bar areas and log all observations. Perform daily log readings of cold rooms and other refrigerated equipment, ensuring proper operation of the equipment. Perform equipment repairs as per manufacturer's recommendations. Perform assigned checklists, inspections, testing, and log readings. Check and replace fused lights in the kitchen. Check and replace water filters for coffee machines, combi ovens, ice machines, and other water systems. Perform general and emergency repairs and maintenance to all kitchen equipment. Ensure fire and engineering safety features operate at peak efficiency. Ensure proper records relating to all plant and equipment are kept. Review daily log book, rectify or follow up on all items left unsolved from previous shifts in relation to kitchen equipment, systems, and units. Perform daily tasks and assignments and ensure that tasks are done in a reasonable time frame and to the standard set by the Engineering Department. Ensure all requests for maintenance are carried out within an acceptable time frame. Liaise and supervise kitchen equipment contractors and ensure that appropriate standards are met. Assist other engineering associates when required. Maintain all tools and equipment in good condition. Ensure adequate stock of spare parts and materials. Adhere to safe operation of all plant equipment and ensure the safety of guests and staff at all times. Desired Skill & Expertise Minimum 5 years experience as a kitchen technician in a 4/5-star hotel. Should have knowledge of both hot and cold kitchen equipment repair and maintenance like chillers, freezers, dishwashers, glass washers, gas cooking equipment, and all types of ovens. Knowledgeable of various brands of kitchen equipment. Capable of performing ARC and gas welding. Familiar with HACCP.
