Job Title: HSE Officer Department: Safety Location: As per Site Requirement Reports To: Site Engineer / Project Manager Job Summary The HSE Officer is responsible for ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance across all facade installation activities, including aluminum framing, glass installation, and related high-risk operations. The role focuses on minimizing risks, ensuring safe work practices, and maintaining compliance with local regulations and company standards. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with HSE policies and local safety regulations Conduct site inspections and safety audits Identify hazards and implement control measures Review and enforce Risk Assessments (RA) and Method Statements (MS) Monitor work at height activities and ensure safe practices Supervise lifting operations for glass and aluminum materials Enforce proper use of PPE on site Conduct toolbox talks and safety training Report and investigate incidents and near misses Maintain HSE documentation and reports Ensure emergency preparedness and response readiness Monitor safe handling of glass & aluminum Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification (mandatory) Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction, preferably in facade/glazing works Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards Strong understanding of work-at-height and lifting operations UAE/GCC experience preferred Key Skills Strong observational and hazard identification skills Good communication and leadership abilities Problem-solving and decision-making Report writing and documentation Ability to enforce safety rules effectively Working Conditions Full-time site-based role Regular inspections across multiple work areas Exposure to heights and external facade access Employment Details Employment Type: Full-time Salary: AED 3,000 - 4,000 (Based on experience and qualifications) Language: English required
