Description

Operations: Lead model audit assignments, models are arithmetically and commercially correct. Use a combination of software checks and parallel model development to identify modelling errors. Review and interpret commerdcial documentation and ensure it is reflected accurately in the financial model. Take ownership of specific assignments and projects, demonstrating initiative and dedication to achieving high-quality outcomes. Contribute to the development and enhancement of our financial modeling methodologies and tools, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Prepare comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies, and results. Position Summary We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant (Payables) to join our finance team. This role is critical in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, driving local and international payables, ensuring tax and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions (notably UAE, Germany, and Egypt), and maintaining robust internal controls. As we continue to grow, We’re currently undergoing a full financial reset and require a proactive Accounts Executive to help bring pending financial data into order. The Role: Accounts Executive (3 month contract with possible extension) The primary responsibility of the Accounts Executive is to support the finance team in clearing backlogs, posting historical data, reconciling bank/vendor statements, and aligning books in QuickBooks Online. This role is critical for enabling our corporate tax filings and compliance before the September 2025 deadline. This is a contract based position for a 3-month project with a possible extension. Responsibilities: Post historical purchase invoices and expense entries into QuickBooks Online (QBO). Assist with bank reconciliations, vendor ledger clean-up, and correction of duplicate or missing entries. Import revenue data manually from Hostaway into QuickBooks until automation is implemented. Maintain accurate VAT records and assist in filing returns where applicable. Support in corporate tax compliance prep by organizing expense classifications and ledger accuracy. Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure audit-readiness. Assist in finalizing Chart of Accounts mapping where required. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of UAE accounting experience, especially in bookkeeping and reconciliations. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (experience required, not just theoretical).
