We are seeking a passionate and energetic Athletics Coach to lead after-school sports sessions for children aged 5 to 12. The ideal candidate will inspire young athletes, foster a love for physical activity, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and fun environment. You will play a key role in promoting healthy habits, teamwork, and skill development through structured athletics programs. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver age-appropriate athletics sessions, focusing on fundamental movement skills (running, jumping, throwing, etc.). Create a supportive and engaging environment that encourages participation and growth. Ensure all activities are conducted safely, following child protection and health & safety guidelines. Adapt coaching techniques to suit different age groups and skill levels. Foster positive behavior, teamwork, and sportsmanship among participants. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and program coordinators. Track attendance and monitor progress when needed. Set up and pack down equipment before and after each session. Requirements: Prior experience working with children in a coaching, teaching, or mentoring role. Background in sports science, physical education, coaching, or related field preferred. Strong knowledge of athletics fundamentals and child development principles. Positive, energetic attitude and excellent communication skills. Ability to manage a group of children with confidence and care. First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Child safeguarding certification or willingness to complete training. Availability during after-school hours. Desirable: Athletics or coaching certifications (e.g., IAAF, UKA, or national equivalent). Experience working in schools or extracurricular programs. Multisport experience or ability to lead games beyond athletics. Pay: 150 AED to 250 AED per lesson Days: Monday to Friday Timings: Monday to Thursday: 1:00 to 4:00pm Friday: 11:00 to 1:00pm
