He will also be required to mobilize offshore to client sites as required for ADHOC projects. Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas Repair, maintenance & test of cranes & lifting equipment inc. but not limited to hook blocks, balls & swivels, overload protection units, and spooler units. Conduct independently offshore crane condition evaluations. Provide accurate identification of all components, report on conditions and provide sufficient information to order correct spare parts. Ensure workshop is kept clean & tidy and all company equipment is kept in good order Ensure project requirements are met within the time allowed Ensure constant improvement of safety, performance, and quality standards Ensure all ongoing work is correctly risk assessed and identify/action new assessments Work as part of a team with other departments Uphold the standards of the company and work in line with the company's objectives. Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical operations or maintenance, preferably in the oil and gas industry. Mechanical diploma or equivalent (SVQ, city & guilds etc.) 5 years in a lifting equipment environment Experience in repair & maintenance of cranes related equipment Experience in working to schedules Preferred At least vocational/technical High School Diploma Holder. Safety Training Certificates. Experience the offshore service industry or similar environment. Experience in cranes & lifting equipment maintenance & repair.
