POSITION OBJECTIVE We are seeking a motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Tech team in Dubai. The position will be crucial in building and maintaining our hybrid infrastructure, which includes both Microsoft Azure and our on-premise environment. Responsibilities will involve designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines and ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our applications and the underlying infrastructure. Design, build, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, or similar, to streamline software delivery. Administer and maintain infrastructure across both Microsoft Azure cloud services and our on-premise data center. Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or equivalent. Monitor the health, performance, and security of our systems and applications, implementing proactive measures to ensure high availability. Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, pipelines, and application deployments across both Azure and on-premise environments. Implement and enforce security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle and infrastructure management. Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce the potential for human error. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, pipelines, and processes. Stay current with emerging DevOps trends, tools, and best practices, particularly within Azure and hybrid environments. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Demonstrable experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. Solid understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Service, Azure Networking, Azure Monitor, Azure DevOps). Experience in managing and troubleshooting on-premise infrastructure components (e.g., servers, storage, networking). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Azure certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert). Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Knowledge of networking principles and security practices in hybrid environments.
