Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cardiovascular Technician to join our multidisciplinary team at an Integrated Diabetes Center. The technician will play a key role in supporting cardiologists and other healthcare professionals in the evaluation and monitoring of cardiovascular health, especially in patients with diabetes and related metabolic disorders. The role involves operating diagnostic equipment, performing cardiovascular tests, and ensuring the highest standard of patient care and safety. Key Responsibilities: Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic procedures such as: Electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG) Holter monitoring Treadmill stress testing Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) Ankle-brachial index (ABI) Vascular ultrasounds (if trained) Echocardiogram Stress test VO2 Max Remote data/monitoring Prepare patients for tests, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort and safety. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and endocrinologists to support patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely reporting of test results. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly, regularly maintained, and calibrated. Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines in all procedures. Assist in triaging patients for cardiac evaluations as part of the diabetes risk assessment. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary team meetings. Stay current with developments in cardiovascular diagnostics and diabetes-related cardiac care. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field. DHA license or eligibility as a Cardiovascular Technician in Dubai (or relevant authority). Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting. Experience working with patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes is an advantage. Strong knowledge of cardiovascular physiology and non-invasive testing protocols. Excellent communication and patient-care skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities: Medication Management and Optimization: Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with evidence-based guidelines. Provide personalized medication counseling to patients, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and proper medication use. Clinical Support: Assist healthcare providers with selecting appropriate medications based on clinical guidelines and patient-specific factors. Support the management of complex cases involving polypharmacy or drug interactions.
