Head of Company Operations. Role Overview We are looking for a seasoned and execution-focused Operations & Launch Manager to lead the rollout and scaling of our operations across multiple cities. This role will run the full operational setup required for launch — from team building and process development to daily execution and performance oversight. You will be responsible for creating the foundational infrastructure of our logistics and service delivery engine, driving performance through clearly defined SOPs, KPIs, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, customer support, and commercial teams to ensure alignment between operational execution and strategic goals. The ideal candidate brings proven experience launching and managing high-performance operations in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments. You must be capable of leading on-the-ground execution while keeping a strategic view on growth, cost, and efficiency. You’ll be expected to introduce industry-leading practices, scale systems quickly, and deliver measurable business results — all while staying within the company’s operational budget for the first year. Key Responsibilities • Launch Execution: Lead end-to-end operational setup in new cities or service zones — including site readiness, fleet integration, staffing, and service testing — to meet aggressive go-live timelines. • Process Design & SOPs: Develop and enforce standardized operating procedures across all operational functions, ensuring quality, compliance, and repeatability. • Team & Department Building: Recruit, train, and manage key functional teams such as logistics, partner onboarding, and fulfillment, tailored to the needs of each launch phase. • Operational Excellence: Drive consistent performance across all operational units — reducing cost, improving delivery time, and raising service reliability. • Innovation in Execution: Propose and implement scalable process improvements and tech-enabled efficiencies that give the company an edge over competitors. • Performance Management: Monitor KPIs including SLA adherence, cancellation rates, rider productivity, and cost-per-delivery; take swift action where needed. • Budget Ownership: Plan and manage operational budgets in coordination with leadership, ensuring sustainable execution aligned with first-year financial targets. • Risk & Issue Resolution: Identify operational risks, gaps, and dependencies early and deploy tactical solutions to resolve them before they affect service. • Cross-functional Alignment: Act as the operational anchor point across product, tech, sales, and marketing teams to ensure coordinated and consistent delivery. Requirements • 7+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or city launch roles — preferably in high-growth tech, delivery, or mobility companies. • Demonstrated success in building teams, creating scalable systems, and launching multi-location operations from the ground up. • Strong financial and operational discipline, with hands-on experience managing multi-zone operations under strict budget constraints. • Experience creating and optimizing SOPs, dashboards, fleet management processes, and operational frameworks that scale. • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with CRMs, operations dashboards, and reporting systems. • Outstanding execution skills — decisive, data-driven, and able to deliver under pressure. • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate field teams and align diverse stakeholders. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field; MBA is a plus. • Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
