Tradesman - Electrician

Roles & Responsibilities Assembles, installs, tests and maintains electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Determines the cause of operating errors and decides what to do about it. Installs equipment, machines, wiring or programs to meet specifications. Conducts tests and inspections of equipment, services or processes to evaluate. Performs routine maintenance on equipment about quality or performance. Determines when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Assembles, installs, tests and maintains the electrical equipment and appliances. Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of breakdown and correct the problem. Connects wires to circuit breakers, switches, or other components. Assists during emergencies by operating floodlights and generators and related emergency activities. Promotes relevant equipment, policies, procedures and strategies. Implement sustainable practices/ policies in Facility Management operations. Desired Candidate Profile Industrial Training Certificate is a MUST Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Healthcare Organizations maintenance department or similar institution. Knowledge of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Power Supplies, Generators and related equipment which is used for medical equipment. Knowledge of Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standard. Ability to speak, read and write English.
