Our Dubai team is expanding, and we are looking for talented professionals to join our mission to engineer safer systems. Job Summary: We are hiring a Senior Engineer with strong AutoCAD skills to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing client drawings during the RFQ (Request for Quotation) stage, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for earthing and lightning protection systems, and creating clear and detailed proposals for submission to the sales team. This role bridges technical design understanding and pre-sales support, ensuring that client requirements are clearly interpreted, technically accurate, and effectively presented for project acquisition. Key Responsibilities: Review client-provided technical drawings and documents during RFQ or tender stage. Understand layouts, single line diagrams (SLDs), and general arrangements related to earthing and lightning protection systems. Prepare BOQs by interpreting the drawing and project specifications. Draft technical proposals including scope of work, material specifications, and basic method statements. Use AutoCAD to mark up layouts and create basic system illustrations as required. Work closely with the internal design, product, and sales teams to finalize proposals. Ensure all proposals are accurate, aligned with standards, and submitted within deadlines. Maintain drawing and proposal documentation for records and future reference. Required Skills: Advanced skills in AutoCAD – must be able to interpret and edit engineering drawings confidently. Understanding of electrical systems, especially earthing and lightning protection. Ability to extract relevant quantities and prepare a structured BOQ. Good written communication for creating clear technical content. Basic understanding of RFQ/tendering processes and proposal documentation. Attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to manage deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in preparing electrical safety or grounding system proposals. Familiarity with standards like IEEE 80, IEC 62305 is a plus. UAE market experience or exposure to Dubai-based EPC/consulting projects is desirable. Why Join Us?
