Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and creative Digital Marketing/Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team at Noor Alnujoom Travels and Tourism, a leading travel and tourism company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing online marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, engage potential customers, and ultimately boost bookings for our travel services.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing Strategy:
• Develop, implement, and optimize digital marketing strategies across various channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, PPC, etc.) to drive website traffic and generate leads.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align campaigns with business objectives, including seasonal promotions and product launches.
• Monitor and analyze digital trends in the travel industry to stay ahead of the competition.
Social Media Management:
• Plan, create, and manage content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), ensuring it reflects the brand's voice and promotes customer engagement.
• Schedule and post regular content, including travel tips, destination guides, user-generated content, promotions, and behind-the-scenes looks.
• Build and maintain a strong social media community by interacting with followers, answering questions, and responding to comments/messages.
Content Creation & Strategy:
• Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to create engaging content (images, videos, blogs, and infographics) that resonates with our target audience.
• Develop compelling storytelling that highlights travel destinations, experiences, and customer testimonials.
• Create SEO-optimized blog content and landing pages that drive organic search traffic.
Paid Advertising Campaigns:
• Oversee paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Google Ads) to drive bookings and increase customer engagement.
• Set up and manage paid search and display campaigns to target prospective travelers.
• Monitor ad performance, optimize for conversion, and report on ROI.
Analytics & Reporting:
• Use Google Analytics, social media insights, and other tools to track and measure the performance of digital campaigns.
• Provide monthly performance reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics (engagement, traffic, leads, bookings).
• Adjust strategies based on performance data and trends.
Influencer & Partner Marketing:
• Identify and engage with influencers and travel bloggers to promote our brand, products, and services.
• Build strategic partnerships with other travel brands, tourism boards, and local businesses for cross-promotion opportunities.
Customer Engagement & Retention:
• Build customer loyalty through engaging social media content and digital campaigns that keep the audience engaged long after their trips.
• Utilize email marketing campaigns (newsletters, promotions, etc.) to keep past and potential customers informed and engaged.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years in the travel and tourism industry (preferred).
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital advertising, and content creation.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Insights, and other marketing tools.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Creativity and passion for travel with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and the latest trends in digital marketing.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with influencer marketing or partnerships within the travel space.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp, HubSpot, etc.).
• Graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
