Key Responsibilities: •     Develop and implement logistics strategies that improve operational efficiency and reduce costs, achieving up to 15% cost savings. •     Coordinate and manage import-export procedures in compliance with international trade regulations and UAE customs requirements. •     Ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place for Dangerous Goods (DG) cargo shipments and clearance through Dubai Customs. •     Build and maintain strong professional relationships with freight forwarders, courier companies, and other logistics service providers. •     Negotiate logistics contracts and pricing annually to ensure competitive rates and service excellence. •     Develop and maintain logistics tools, including a cost estimation system for shipments within GCC and South Africa, with monthly updates based on fuel surcharges. •     Monitor global logistics trends and advise on best practices to enhance international supply chain operations. •     Manage the accounting flow related to logistics partners and vendors, particularly with vendors in China. •     Prepare regular reports, performance metrics, and actionable insights for senior management review.
