Project Manager

Job description We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Project Manager to take full ownership of complex construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage tight deadlines, maintain high-quality standards, and deliver projects within budget and scope. This role demands technical expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional leadership capabilities to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Lead the full lifecycle of construction projects from planning and mobilization through execution, handover, and closeout. Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, cost plans, and resource allocations. Monitor site execution to ensure strict adherence to approved drawings, specifications, safety policies, and quality standards. Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal departments (planning, procurement, HR, QA/QC, etc.). Conduct project review meetings, resolve site issues proactively, and drive accountability across the team. Track project financials, manage cost controls, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain budget discipline. Ensure timely inspections, authority approvals, and documentation compliance with local regulatory bodies. Oversee subcontractor performance, material procurement, and vendor billing validations. Lead risk management and mitigation strategies to avoid delays or contractual issues. Prepare and present clear, data-driven progress reports to senior management and clients. Deliver projects on time, within scope, and to the highest quality and safety benchmarks. Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of proven UAE-based experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, preferably with contracting companies. In-depth knowledge of UAE construction codes, regulations, and authority approvals (Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, etc.) Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus). Proficient in project management tools and software (Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.). Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple fast-track projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities. Preferred Qualifications: PMP or equivalent Project Management certification. Experience in high-rise buildings, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects. Proven track record of handling budgets over AED 10M+ and leading diverse project teams.
