Job Title: Architect Location: Dubai, UAE Job Type: Full-Time We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect with strong site engineering expertise to manage and supervise architectural projects across Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of proven experience in architectural design, construction supervision, and project coordination with UAE authorities. --- Key Responsibilities Site Supervision & Project Execution Oversee all architectural activities on-site, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and standards. Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and progress monitoring to meet timelines and project goals. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth execution. Verify construction materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with design requirements and safety regulations. Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, highlighting any delays, risks, or required changes. Authority Coordination & Compliance Manage documentation and obtain approvals from relevant authorities (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, Nakheel, Meraas, DEWA, DCD, etc.). Ensure all site works adhere to local building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Assist in handling inspections and final project handovers with authorities. Technical & Design Support Provide technical guidance during the construction phase, ensuring that architectural intent is maintained. Review BOQs, shop drawings, and as-built drawings. Perform site surveys, verify dimensions, and coordinate design adjustments as required. Project Management & Coordination Support the Project Manager in scheduling, cost control, and resource planning. Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams. Ensure health and safety compliance across all architectural activities on-site. --- Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Dubai in architectural design and site supervision. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project execution, and authority approval processes. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and project management tools. Valid UAE driving license. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
