Role Overview: Meraki Integrated Contracting is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Architect to support our design team in developing high-quality architectural solutions for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will assist with concept design, drafting, coordination, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Design & Drafting Assist in developing conceptual and detailed architectural designs. Prepare presentation drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and 3D models. Produce high-quality rendered apartment and retail layouts tailored for marketing and sales purposes. Produce detailed construction drawings and documentation as per project requirements. Support in creating mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations. Coordination & Documentation Coordinate with structural, MEP, interior design, landscape, and all relevant teams to ensure overall project alignment. Revise drawings based on feedback from senior architects, consultants, or clients. Assist in preparing authority submission packages and ensure local compliance. Maintain organized design files, CAD standards, and documentation. Site & Client Support Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure design intent is met. Record and report site conditions, snag lists, and design clarifications. Attend design meetings and client presentations when required. Requirements Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. 0–2 years of experience in architectural design (UAE/GCC experience preferred). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator. Basic understanding of construction methods, building codes, and authority regulations in UAE. Strong presentation and visualization skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Good work ethic and eagerness to learn  Preferred Traits: Passion for design and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, plans, and layouts based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers. The role involves working closely with project teams to ensure high-quality designs and adherence to project timelines. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed 2D and/or 3D drawings using AutoCAD software. Interpret architectural, engineering, and design drawings and convert them into precise technical plans. Modify and update drawings based on feedback and changes during the project lifecycle. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate representations. Ensure that drawings comply with company standards, industry codes, and client requirements. Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation. Assist in preparing layouts, detailed drawings, and construction documents as required. Ensure timely completion of assigned drafting tasks. Requirements: Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman or similar role. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D preferred). Solid understanding of drafting techniques, construction processes, and design principles. Ability to read and understand technical documents and blueprints. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Education & Qualifications: Diploma or certification in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Additional training in AutoCAD or related CAD software is a plus. Preferred Skills (optional): Knowledge of other CAD software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks, SketchUp). Experience in [Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Architectural] drafting. Strong Visual Ideation/Creativity/Typography Design Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) Multimedia Design Software (Competent level in After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro) is required. Good knowledge of Print and UI/UX design theory, Colour Theory. Experience in utilising performance marketing platforms (such as Creatopy, Google Ads, Bannerflow) is a plus. Web Design/Basic HTML & CSS Layout/Conversion Optimisation, and knowledge of Lightroom, XD/Figma is a plus Strong collaborative skills. Fluent English. Excellent communication skills.
