About the Role We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to manage and grow our relationships with major supermarket chains and hypermarkets. The KAM will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring strong in-store execution, and developing joint business plans that deliver sustainable growth for both the customer and our FMCG brands. Key Responsibilities • Manage and develop strong relationships with assigned supermarket/hypermarket accounts (e.g., Carrefour, Lulu, Spinneys, Union Coop, etc.). • Lead annual negotiations covering trading terms, contracts, listings, pricing, and promotional agreements. • Develop Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with accounts to achieve category and brand growth targets. • Monitor account performance and ensure achievement of sales volume, revenue, and profitability targets. • Plan and execute promotional activities, seasonal campaigns, and new product launches in coordination with trade marketing. • Ensure optimal product assortment, planogram compliance, and shelf visibility in line with category strategies. • Conduct regular business reviews with buyers/merchandisers to track performance and identify new opportunities. • Work closely with supply chain and logistics to ensure on-time deliveries, stock availability, and replenishment. • Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotions, and provide actionable market insights. Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. • 3–5 years of experience in FMCG sales/account management, with at least 2 years handling modern trade/supermarket accounts. • Strong understanding of supermarket operations, category management, and trade marketing. • Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills. • Proven record of delivering sales targets and building strong partnerships with key retailers. • Analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially savvy. • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (experience with Nielsen, IRI, or similar data tools is a plus).
