Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chemist / Chemical Engineer to support our [manufacturing/research/laboratory] operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in chemistry or chemical engineering and experience in applying scientific principles to develop, improve, or scale chemical processes, formulations, or products. Key Responsibilities: For Chemist roles: Develop, analyze, and test chemical compounds, formulations, or materials. Conduct experiments following standard procedures and safety protocols. Analyze data using techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and titration. Document laboratory results and prepare technical reports. Support product development and quality assurance activities. Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., OSHA, GMP, ISO).

The MCC Controller is a key role reporting to the Senior Manager – Maintenance, responsible for overseeing all technical matters related to the beOnd fleet. Serving as the focal point for Flight Crew and maintenance providers, the MCC Controller ensures seamless communication, effective coordination, and positive operational control across the fleet. This role maintains situational awareness of fleet status at all times, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and optimized aircraft availability. Key Responsibilities: Act as the liaison between the Maintenance Department and other internal and external stakeholders, including Operations, CAMO, and SSC. Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure they are completed on time and in compliance with MCAR 145 regulations and company procedures. Monitor aircraft status and provide real-time updates to relevant departments, ensuring clear communication and quick resolution of issues. Facilitate the planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks, working closely with the CAMO Technical Records & Planning to optimize aircraft availability. Ensure that all necessary documentation, including work orders and maintenance records, is accurate and up to date. Participate in daily meetings to discuss maintenance status, upcoming tasks, and any issues that may impact aircraft availability. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any maintenance-related issues that may arise, coordinating with appropriate departments to find solutions. Support the compliance team during audits and inspections, providing necessary documentation and information. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing maintenance efficiency and reducing aircraft downtime. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve maintenance processes and communication channels within the organization. Other duties that maybe assigned by the Management as and when required and necessitated by operations. Requirements Current Part-66 AMEL with type rating on A320 family fitted with CFM56 and IAE V2500 engines. 3 years in MCC of a scheduled airline operating A320 family of aircraft (Mandatory). Fluent in spoken and written English language. Proficient in MS Office suite of applications (EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT, etc.) Expert in Engineering systems such as AMOS, RAMCO, TRAX, etc. Minimum of TEN years of total aircraft maintenance experience out of which, minimum 3 years as a certifying staff. Bachelor’s degree/AME diploma. Job Purpose The Engineering Projects section specializes in evaluating, specifying, and negotiating new and used aircraft acquisitions. We oversee the entire process, from initial evaluation and assembly inspection to final delivery and acceptance. We develop detailed specifications for aircraft and new system installations, including Passenger Entertainment and Connectivity Services (IFE) and Cabin Interiors. Our team ensures that all regulatory requirements, safety standards, functionality, and maintainability are met for each aircraft's entry into service. As a Project Engineer, you will provide technical expertise during the design and development of Emirates aircraft products in their respective fields i.e. Avionics, In Flight Entertainment (IFE), Cabin Interior, Airframe systems, Power Plant Engineering and Structure. To specify the Emirates aircraft definition to ensure that they are correctly configured prior to delivery and that all Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) and Seller Furnished Equipment (SFE) programmes are delivered as per the specification and on time. In this role, you will: Evaluate information from various sources including Vendors, in house experience of in-service equipment and industry research/developments, in order to facilitate the selection of BFE (i.e. IFE , communication/navigation equipment, galleys and seats etc.) in future aircraft. Prepare recommendations for the introduction of new equipment selection for both future and in-service fleets, taking into account new trends within the industry. Participate in Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), airline working groups to steer aircraft Interior design and other equipment specifications to EK needs / benefit. Participate in initial technical co-ordination meetings , preliminary design reviews, critical design reviews and First Article Inspections (FAI) of new equipment with the relevant suppliers/airframes, participate in source inspection. Follow-up design issues with suppliers and prepare action plan of open FAI issues. Monitor the performance of aircraft and equipment for the in-service fleet by reviewing Technical Follow Ups (TFU) and Production Review Records (PRR), in order to ensure the timely introduction of committed changes by Manufacturers and Vendors for new programmes. To evaluate requirements of stakeholders to introduce enhancements to equipment and services and prepare recommendations and/or cost analysis in liaison with other operational areas of EK in order to support the introduction of changes to aircraft specifications of future fleets. Closely liaise with other stakeholders to ensure that any approved requirements for on-board features and functionalities are met. Participate with management to negotiate technical and commercial aspects of specific changes. Continuously review regulatory requirements that are being introduced in the industry for implementation in the specifications of future fleet. Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth introduction of new aircraft at `Transfer of Title' and entry into operation. Review delivery updates during production process for any commitment letter items that needs to be addressed with the delivery manager for each newly introduced aircraft. Conduct research and feasibility studies, provide recommendations to optimize aircraft operations and improve the passenger experience in Cabin for the introductions of the future EK fleet. Assist the project team members in preparing budget requirements for new programs and suggesting recommendations. Assist Manager Aircraft Acceptance during final cabin acceptance and various inspections, design reviews. To also carry out post airplane delivery inspection before entry into Service. Develop, assist and coach you project team members and ensure project delivery. Qualification To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Aeronautical Engineering and/or holder of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence. Experience of 10+ years in aircraft engineering preferably with 5 years in projects Aircraft Delivery related profession. Thorough knowledge of the latest technical developments in Airframe, Power Plant, Avionics, IFE Equipment, Cabin equipment and installations and industry trends of future changes. Job Description: - Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on concrete equipment (e.g., concrete pumps, mixers, batching systems). - Conduct routine maintenance and preventive servicing to ensure equipment performance. - Carry out overhauling of mechanical and hydraulic components, including engines, valves, and control systems. - Assist in on-site repairs and field service visits across project locations. - Maintain service records, job sheets, and follow work safety procedures. - Support senior engineers and collaborate with parts and operations teams. - Reports to Service Deputy Section Head Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with concrete pumps (troubleshooting, maintenance, and overhauling) - In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, and control circuits used in concrete machinery. - Must be currently residing in the UAE. - Valid UAE driver's license is an advantage - Must be not more than 40 years old. - Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical or related field preferred. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work attitude.
