Description

We are looking for a detail-driven BIM Draghtsman – MEP to join our engineering team at Meraki Integrated Contracting. You will be responsible for creating and managing accurate 3D MEP models, coordinating across disciplines, and supporting the site and design teams with clear, execution-ready documentation. Key Responsibilities: Develop 3D BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems using Revit and AutoCAD MEP. Generate shop drawings, coordinated layouts, and detailed sections based on project specifications. Collaborate with architectural, structural, and civil teams to ensure clash-free, coordinated models. Conduct clash detection using Navisworks and resolve conflicts in coordination with site and design teams. Maintain updated drawing logs and ensure models meet the required Level of Detail (LOD) and project standards. Support the construction team with drawing revisions, RFIs, and documentation during execution. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Drafting Technology. 3–5 years of experience in MEP BIM Modelling, preferably within UAE construction projects. Proficient in Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and other coordination tools. Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems. Experience working with site teams and resolving technical issues during execution. Knowledge of BIM standards, workflows, and interdisciplinary coordination. Preferred Traits: High attention to detail and precision. Effective communicator with strong teamwork and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt quickly to project changes.
