Position: HVAC or MEP Technician Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Key Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including split units, ducted units, VRF/VRV systems, package units, and chillers. • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and retail properties. • Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical panels, wiring, lighting, switches, sockets, pumps, motors, and plumbing lines. • Perform preventive maintenance: filter cleaning, coil washing, refrigerant top-up, and thermostat calibration. • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in AC and refrigeration systems. • Replace compressors, fan motors, capacitors, and control boards. • Pressure test and vacuum refrigerant lines to ensure leak-free installations. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals for accurate troubleshooting and installations. • Participate in the company’s emergency call-out program on a rotational basis. • Ensure UAE safety standards and building codes are followed in all HVAC work. • Conduct inspections and generate detailed service reports. • Assist in providing training for other team members. • Serve as part of the emergency response team when required. • Maintain availability to work on weekends and public holidays if needed. • Work independently or as part of a team depending on job requirements. • Keep inventory of supplies and request/order replacements as required. • Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in good condition. • Support inspections and quality checks as per regulatory and client standards. • Maintain service reports and documentation for all completed work. • Maintain polite and professional communication with clients. • Maintain a professional appearance and follow company etiquette (uniform, grooming, punctuality). Qualifications & Experience • ITI / Diploma in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent. • ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or MEP discipline. • Minimum 5-7 years’ UAE experience in HVAC installation and maintenance. • Hands-on experience with VRF/VRV systems, chillers, and package units preferred. • Familiarity with HVAC control wiring and basic BMS systems. • Refrigerant handling certification is a plus. • Good conduct certificate from local authority • UAE driving license preferred. • Good communication skills in English Competitive salary based on experience with company visa, accommodation, transportation and benefits as per UAE labour law
