Responsibilities
As a Business Advisor, you will be responsible for promoting and selling various types of smart equipment related to the local life service platform, including but not limited to intelligent ordering systems, POS systems, and store management terminals. By building strong relationships with local merchants, you will drive the adoption and utilization of digital solutions, enhance merchant operational efficiency and service quality, and support the achievement of individual and team goals to accelerate business growth.
1. Achieving Sales Targets
Develop and implement personal business development plans; actively explore the local market and identify business opportunities to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual performance targets.
Gain in-depth knowledge of the product features, advantages, and use cases; understand customer needs and market dynamics; apply effective strategies to recommend and deliver the right solutions to merchants such as restaurants, retail stores, salons, and hotels.
2. Customer Relationship Management and Expansion
Visit and engage local businesses regularly to build and maintain strong client relationships. Provide ongoing support, training, and problem-solving to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
Conduct market research and customer profiling to identify potential leads. Develop targeted outreach plans to expand the customer base and increase market penetration.
3. Product Demonstrations
Conduct live demonstrations and hands-on training sessions to help customers understand how to operate the equipment. Clearly communicate the benefits to generate strong interest and purchasing intent.
4. Sales Channel Development
Collaborate with local business associations, chambers of commerce, and industry organizations to expand product visibility and credibility within the market.
Seek joint opportunities with relevant companies or institutions to explore partnership models, share resources, and grow market influence.
5. Payment Collection Management
Closely monitor the payment progress of contract orders to ensure that clients complete payments within the specified period, thereby improving the overall collection rate.
Establish a customer payment tracking system and collaborate with the finance team to communicate collection plans in a timely manner, properly handle payment issues, and mitigate bad debt risks.
The payment collection rate will serve as a key performance indicator, with a monthly average target to be met according to company policy and business requirements.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting
Regularly collect, analyze, and interpret sales-related data including customer sources, sales performance, and product feedback. Use insights to refine strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare and submit detailed reports to management, covering progress toward objectives, customer needs, and market developments to support informed business decisions.
Job Requirements
Degree in Marketing, E-commerce, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in consultative selling, business negotiation, and customer communication.
Familiarity with the local life service industry and a solid understanding of merchant operations and digitalization needs; industry experience preferred.
Technical literacy to comprehend and explain smart equipment functionality and collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities, capable of working across diverse cultural backgrounds.
Excellent business development skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive innovative market solutions.
High adaptability and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to handle customer concerns and unexpected situations with professionalism.
Self-driven and goal-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and resilience under pressure.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Chinese or Hindi is a plus.
Skilled in office software for preparing reports, proposals, and presentations.
