Project Coordinator - Brownfield Builds - Healthcare - UAE National (junior and/or senior) About GluCare: GluCare Integrated Diabetes Center is a pioneering healthcare facility in Dubai, delivering comprehensive, tech-enabled, and patient-centric care for individuals with diabetes and other metabolic disorders. We are redefining chronic disease management through an integrated care model, continuous monitoring technologies, and a multidisciplinary team approach. Job Summary:  GluCare Integrated Diabetes Center is looking for a highly motivated UAE National graduate to join our team as a Project Coordinator focused on brownfield healthcare builds. This role is ideally suited for an Emirati with a biomedical or biotech engineering background, who will be trained and mentored to develop deep project management and technical skills in healthcare infrastructure development. You will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of refurbishment, expansion, and fit-out projects across our healthcare facilities, with a focus on the coordination of medical equipment procurement, contractor and vendor management, and collaboration with internal stakeholders. This is an opportunity to grow into a key leadership role in healthcare project delivery in the UAE. Key Responsibilities: Project Coordination & Execution: Support brownfield healthcare facility expansion and renovation projects from design through to handover. Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors to align project work with clinical and operational requirements. Track project schedules, budgets, and milestones, reporting any risks or delays proactively. Equipment Procurement & Management: Assist in the procurement, logistics, and installation of medical and non-medical equipment. Liaise with equipment suppliers and ensure equipment meets clinical specifications and regulatory compliance. Maintain an inventory and handover checklist for all installed equipment during project close-out. Vendor & Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the point of contact for vendors, suppliers, architects, and contractors. Communicate project updates and needs between internal departments such as Clinical, IT, Facilities, and Finance. Help ensure all work complies with DHA, Civil Defense, MOHRE, and other regulatory requirements. Site Supervision & Quality Control: Participate in regular site visits to monitor progress, workmanship, and adherence to safety protocols. Escalate technical issues or design conflicts as needed and support resolution with guidance from senior team members. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain organized records of contracts, equipment specs, correspondence, and project changes. Prepare progress updates and present them to senior leadership during review meetings. Understand, follow and support all hospital infection control programs  Training & Development: Receive mentorship from experienced project managers, engineers, and clinical operations staff. Gain exposure to healthcare facility standards, equipment planning, and UAE regulatory frameworks. Develop skills in vendor management, architectural and engineering review, and facility planning. Requirements Qualifications: UAE National (Emirati citizenship required). Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotech Engineering, Healthcare Technology, or related field. Strong interest in healthcare infrastructure and project delivery. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with project tracking tools is a plus. Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage). A commitment to continuous learning and development in healthcare project management. Preferred (but not required): Internship or academic project experience in facility design, medical equipment, or healthcare operations. Familiarity with healthcare regulations (DHA, MOH) is a plus but will be taught on the job.

Job Description AECOM is seeking an experienced Civil Inspector for a major Roads and Infrastructure project located in Dubai. The role involves both inspection and the supervision of roads and infrastructure works of the project. To ensure that the activities are being executed in accordance with the project specification. Job Duties Be familiar with the project’s contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures together with any associated updates. Ensure the contractor/s compliance with the standards and specifications of the contract documents. Maintain records of the contractor human and equipment daily resources. Undertake all site supervision and inspections when required or instructed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or the Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE). Liaise and daily follow up with the contractor. This is to ensure the contractor is managing its resources, health and safety, and equipment needs on the site. Prepare daily report to the RE or ARE. This includes works orders, materials delivery, and daily inspections program. Follow up and implement any site instructions made by the RE and ARE. Apply and implement all quality controls and quality procedures of the site. Prepare any site measurements and surveying checks needed by the RE or ARE for pipes alignments and levels. Co-ordinate and co-operate with client project manager during their site inspections in the presence of the RE or ARE. Monitor contractor QA/QC activities and maintain relevant records. Assist the ARE and RE in the preparation of any correspondences in compliance with the contract documents and site requirements. Where site problems are found, work with the RE or ARE to resolve them promptly. Monitor the start-up, commissioning and handover of the site works. Including maintaining records of the project milestones. Maintain records of materials tests performed and executed works. Audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor submitted plans. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering RTA Approval is preferred Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience within similar projects, with minimum 3 years in UAE. Job Summary The Quantity Surveyor will lead key elements of the site-based post contract delivery of our cost management activities having daily interaction with the rest of the AECOM site supervision team.
