POSITION OBJECTIVE We are seeking a highly motivated Agile Project Manager to oversee and own the end-to-end delivery of our product outcomes. This role is critical in ensuring seamless collaboration across teams, managing third-party relationships, and driving successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong delivery mindset, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead in a framework agnostic delivery environment while maintaining a focus on management and reporting. End-to-End Delivery Ownership Take full ownership for the successful delivery of product projects, from initiation through to completion. Monitor progress against plans, identify potential delivery bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to stay on track. Align delivery goals with the company’s strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with broader business priorities. Third-Party Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party vendors enabling effective collaboration and problem-solving. Agile Team Leadership Support in the facilitation of team ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews, ensuring they are productive and goal oriented. Act as a mentor to team members, helping them understand and apply agile principles effectively. Support the team in removing impediments and resolving conflicts to maintain focus and momentum. Promote a culture of collaboration, ownership, and accountability within the team. Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strong relationship with internal stakeholders. Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of priorities. Facilitate alignment between stakeholder expectations and project realities, addressing any misalignments promptly. Work closely with the Product Manager, Product Owner and Engineering management to ensure alignment and consistency in processes and practices across the team. Risk Management Identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle, assessing their impact and likelihood. Develop and implement mitigation plans to address identified risks proactively. Conduct regular risk review meetings, ensuring risks are continuously monitored and managed throughout the project. Maintain a risk register and ensure transparency by communicating significant risks to relevant stakeholders Exco-Level Reporting Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and data-driven reports to executive committees. Provide insights into project performance, including progress, risks, and opportunities, to enable informed decision-making. Ensure reports align with organizational objectives and showcase the project’s value to the business. Continuous Improvement Regularly review delivery processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance future delivery practices. Foster a culture of innovation and adaptability within the team, encouraging the exploration of new tools and techniques. Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure the team remains competitive and up to date. Requirements Degree qualified ideally with Computer Science Strong technical understanding of Jira, Confluence. Strong emphasis on needing to build information radiating dashboards. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders. Strong understanding of agile and waterfall frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe. Strong interpersonal skills to navigate diverse team dynamics and foster trust. Ability to empathize with team members and stakeholders while maintaining professional boundaries. Key Responsibilities Design Leadership & Strategy: Define and champion the overall design vision, strategy, and guidelines for our fintech products, ensuring consistency and excellence across all platforms. Translate complex financial concepts and user needs into elegant, simple, and delightful user experiences. Drive the evolution of our design system, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and brand consistency. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product Managers to understand business requirements, define product roadmaps, and integrate design seamlessly into the development lifecycle. Work hand-in-hand with Engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility, smooth implementation, and a high-quality final product. Present design concepts, rationale, and user insights to stakeholders at all levels, influencing decision-making and securing buy-in. Quality Assurance & Iteration: Conduct design reviews and provide critical feedback to ensure design quality, consistency, and adherence to established standards. Promote an iterative design process, encouraging continuous refinement based on data, user feedback, and evolving business needs. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related field, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or senior design role. Mandatory: Proven experience designing complex digital products within the FinTech or Financial Services industry. (Please highlight this experience in your application and portfolio). A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, demonstrating expertise in UX research, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design. Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Miro). Expertise in conducting user research, usability testing, and synthesizing insights into actionable design recommendations. Solid understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how design translates into code.
