Job Title: Demi Chef de Partie – Cold Section (Mediterranean Cuisine) Location: Dubai, UAE Start Date: 15 August 2025 Employment Type: Full-Time | Live-Out We are seeking a talented and motivated Demi Chef de Partie with a passion for Mediterranean cuisine to join our dynamic culinary team in Dubai at a renowned beach side upmarket Italian restaurant This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in the cold kitchen or Garde Manger and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality and presentation. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and present cold dishes, salads, appetisers, and other menu items to the highest standards. Ensure all mise-en-place is completed in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation aligned with Mediterranean culinary traditions. Work collaboratively with senior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Uphold strict hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen. Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing stock for the cold section. Support in the training and development of junior staff when required. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a high-end or fine dining environment. Proven expertise in the cold section / Garde Manger, particularly in Mediterranean cuisine. Fluency in English is essential. Candidates must be currently based in the UAE and available for a full-time, live-out position. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Benefits Competitive salary up to AED 4,750, plus service charge and gratuities. Annual flight ticket. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be aware and ensure that he and his co – workers follow company hygiene procedures. The communications to the Executive Chef, Sous Chef and the Stock Controller must be in respectful, friendly and professional ways. Responsible of Checking all Meat and Fish on delivery for quality and Quantity. In charge of cleanliness of the Meat and Fish preparation rooms and proper storage of all Meat and Fish items in the Freezers and Fridges. Close communication and contact with the Executive Chef with regard ordering and preparation is obligatory. The guidelines and requests from the Chef and F&B Manager must be followed in the most efficient way.
