Reinventing Short-Term Renting SmartStay is a holiday homes company that offers luxury furnished apartments in prime locations like Downtown Dubai. At SmartStay, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and reliability to our clients. As we continue to grow, We’re currently undergoing a full financial reset and require a proactive Accounts Executive to help bring pending financial data into order. The Role: Accounts Executive (3 month contract with possible extension) The primary responsibility of the Accounts Executive is to support the finance team in clearing backlogs, posting historical data, reconciling bank/vendor statements, and aligning books in QuickBooks Online. This role is critical for enabling our corporate tax filings and compliance before the September 2025 deadline. This is a contract based position for a 3-month project with a possible extension. Responsibilities: Post historical purchase invoices and expense entries into QuickBooks Online (QBO). Assist with bank reconciliations, vendor ledger clean-up, and correction of duplicate or missing entries. Import revenue data manually from Hostaway into QuickBooks until automation is implemented. Maintain accurate VAT records and assist in filing returns where applicable. Support in corporate tax compliance prep by organizing expense classifications and ledger accuracy. Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure audit-readiness. Assist in finalizing Chart of Accounts mapping where required. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of UAE accounting experience, especially in bookkeeping and reconciliations. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (experience required, not just theoretical). Knowledge of UAE VAT rules and Corporate Tax compliance. Experience with real estate, hospitality, or short-term rentals is a plus. Ability to work independently and deliver within tight timelines. Flexible to handle ad-hoc tasks and urgent requirements as they arise, especially during reporting periods or departmental coordination needs. This is a full-time hybrid role for a SWIFT CBPR+ Messaging Expert at ProgressSoft Corporation. The role involves requirements gathering, analysis, and writing BRD/SRS documents. While the role is primarily based in Dubai, there is flexibility for some remote work. Responsibilities Review and maintain products roadmap updated according to market needs and main payments industry players trend for future services. Manage business analysis and requirements definition and detailing role with customers as part of the project execution lifecycle in alignment with the project managers and products owners. Attend team meetings including daily standups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives Elicit and gather requirements from multiple sources, such as customer/stakeholders interviews and meetings, documents analysis, and research.
