Maintain a log of reported issues and resolutions to update the knowledge management and FAQ database. Provide monthly reports on the issues reported and resolved. Ensure compliance with the standard software policy and handle non-standard software requests after thorough analysis and security verification. Support users in day-to-day activities and liaise with users to understand and log identified business transactions in the system. Provide support for all end user/customer systems including; printers, PCs, Mobile devices, IoT, phones, etc. Perform routine maintenance on assets and maintain related asset registry Deliver services and support within SLA and customer satisfaction targets Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 6 years of related experience Required Certifications: A+, M365 Certification, Network+ Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), Avaya, CCNA, Proven experience as a Level 2 Support Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to document solutions and provide training to users. This includes local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other network systems to ensure optimal performance and security. The role also involves troubleshooting network issues, upgrading hardware/software, and collaborating with IT teams to align network infrastructure with business objectives. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Wi-Fi Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, setting up, and managing public Wi-Fi services. You will work with principal vendors like Aruba, Antlabs, Aislelabs, Huawei, and Cisco Meraki, and possess technical certifications from these vendors. 1. Key Responsibilities *Design and Implementation -Plan, design, and deploy network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, etc.). -Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware. -Ensure network scalability to support future growth. -Design, implement, and manage public Wi-Fi services in various environments (urban, rural, enterprise, and commercial). -Conduct site surveys, network planning, and Wi-Fi network optimization. -Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in public Wi-Fi services and implement best practices. -Develop and maintain network documentation, including design plans, configurations, and maintenance procedures. *Monitoring and Maintenance -Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. -Conduct routine maintenance to ensure network stability and efficiency. -Implement updates, patches, and upgrades for network hardware and software. -Perform network backups and disaster recovery planning. *Security Management -Implement and manage network security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. -Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments. -Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards. *Support and Troubleshooting -Provide technical support to internal teams and end-users. -Diagnose and resolve network problems quickly to minimize downtime. -Document network configurations, changes, and processes for future reference. -Work with IT and development teams to support business applications. 2. Required Qualifications *Educational Background -Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. *Technical Skills -In-depth knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF). -Hands-on experience with network hardware (Cisco, HPE, Huawei, etc.). -Proficiency in configuring firewalls, switches, and routers. -Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). -Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark). -Experience working on public Wi-Fi deployment with vendors like Aruba, ANTlabs, Aislelabs, Cisco Meraki etc *Certifications (preferred) -Cisco, HPE, Huawei, etc. -Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP) -Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP) -Huawei Certified Network Professional (HCNP) -Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Wireless -Certification or training on ANTlabs or Aislelabs *Soft Skills -Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. -Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. -Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Provide technical guidance to workshop teams on mechanical, hydraulic, and structural repair processes. Ensure adherence to quality control standards during all refurbishment activities. Team Leadership:  Lead and manage a team of Supervisors, technicians and support staff.  Conduct regular training sessions to ensure team members are up-to-date on the latest techniques and safety practices.  Motivate staff to maintain high levels of productivity and morale.  Inventory and Asset Management:  Maintain accurate records of inventory, tools, and equipment.  Coordinate procurement of spare parts and materials required for refurbishment projects.  Monitor the condition of workshop tools and equipment, ensuring timely calibration and servicing.  Client and Stakeholder Coordination:  Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding refurbishment projects.  Provide regular updates on project status, timelines, and budgets.  Ensure client specifications and requirements are met with high-quality outcomes.  Reporting and Documentation:  Prepare and present detailed reports on workshop activities, including work completed, resource utilization, and performance metrics.  Maintain comprehensive documentation of all maintenance and refurbishment processes.  Requirements Essential:  Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.  Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in workshop management, preferably within the oil and gas or heavy machinery sector.  Technical Knowledge: Expertise in offshore pedestal cranes, including structural components, hydraulic systems, and mechanical assemblies.  Familiarity with international standards such as API, ISO, and DNV for crane refurbishment.  Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and leading multidisciplinary teams.  HSE Knowledge: Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the oil and gas sector.  Good in English language (reading, writing and communication skills).   Good working knowledge of MS Office programs.   Behaviors and Personal Qualities: Essential:  Excellent organizational and time management skills.  Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.  Effective communication and interpersonal skills.  Proficiency in using workshop management software and tools.  Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.  Self-motivated.   Good Communication Skills   High standards of workmanship   Work Environment:  Based in a workshop environment with occasional site visits to offshore platforms as needed.  Must be flexible to work extended hours and manage on-call responsibilities during critical projects.
