Reservation Officer – Outbound Tourism

To manage and execute outbound travel reservations, including flight bookings and holiday packages, while ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. The role requires extensive knowledge of global distribution systems (GDS) and strong experience in creating tailor-made holiday packages for individuals and families traveling abroad. Key Responsibilities: Handle and manage flight reservations using global distribution systems (GDS) such as Sabre, Amadeus, and others. Design, plan, and execute comprehensive holiday packages including flights, hotels, transportation, and activities. Manage bookings and travel arrangements to destinations across Europe, East Asia, and other international markets. Organize and customize travel itineraries for individuals and families according to their needs and budgets. Coordinate with airlines, hotels, transportation providers, and other suppliers to secure the best deals and services. Monitor and confirm all bookings, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with both clients and suppliers. Resolve booking issues or changes efficiently and professionally. Provide travel consultation and advice to clients regarding destinations, packages, and travel options. Prepare periodic reports for management on bookings, revenue, and top travel destinations. Requirements: Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in outbound tourism and travel reservations. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with GDS systems (Sabre – essential; Amadeus/Galileo – preferred). Demonstrated expertise in managing international holiday packages and group/family travel arrangements. In-depth knowledge of travel trends in Europe and East Asia. Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational abilities and the capability to work under pressure. Fluency in English (spoken and written); Arabic is an advantage. Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications or training in GDS systems are a strong plus
