Technical Lead ( Java )

Responsibilities Lead the design and development of high-quality Java applications while ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. Collaborate closely with product management and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business goals. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure coding quality and knowledge sharing. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive improvement and innovation. Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong hands-on experience with Java-based backend systems, microservices architecture, and MongoDB. Deep understanding of financial systems, payment services, and integrations (e.g., refund services, installment services, reconciliation). Experience with API gateway platforms (e.g., Software AG WebMethods) and asynchronous communication (Kafka). Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), DevOps practices, and scalable architecture. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of security and compliance, especially in financial services. Proficient in Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira).
