Description

Meraki Integrated Contracting is seeking a committed and detail-oriented HSE Officer to ensure safe work practices at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will help develop, implement, and enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards to protect workers, comply with UAE regulations, and maintain our reputation for safe, high-quality projects. Key Responsibilities: Site Safety Management Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts, or conditions. Ensure all workers follow approved safety procedures and wear proper PPE. Implement and enforce company HSE policies and UAE safety regulations. Monitor site housekeeping, material storage, and traffic management. Training & Awareness Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions for workers and subcontractors. Promote a culture of safety through education and regular briefings. Support supervisors in understanding and enforcing safety rules. Incident Management & Reporting Investigate and document all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions. Prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and recommendations. Coordinate emergency response drills and readiness plans. Documentation & Compliance Maintain all HSE records, including checklists, permits, audits, and training logs. Support in preparing safety plans, risk assessments, and method statements. Liaise with local authorities and consultants to ensure compliance with legal and client requirements. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Safety Management, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an HSE Officer in building construction projects. NEBOSH IGC or equivalent safety certification (mandatory). Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and construction site requirements. Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced site environment.
