The Role The Projects Control Lead role is primarily responsible for establishing the project planning system, drafting associated written procedures, and preparing the Project Contract Master Schedule for all disciplines of work.  Supporting the relevant regions and business line leadership in providing cost forecasting and reporting.  Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas Manage and coordinate the activities of the Cost Engineer, Contracts Engineer and Planning Engineer on all Project Control issues/tasks to ensure a high level of commercial and technical expertise.  Act as an interface between the Project Controls Team, Project Controls, Commercial and Business Line management    Manage, coordinate and integrate the activities detailed above to provide a high-quality business services function, ensuring a high level of commercial and technical expertise.  Provide management with the tools and visibility to act in a proactive manner.  Coordination of the preparation of all project and corporate weekly and monthly reporting requirements.  Support with Project Change Management System, identification and cost and schedule impact analysis. Support and provide input to project valuation and invoicing requirements.  Advise the Business of any issues identified and any client dissatisfaction.  Produce reports as required.  Promote the concept of Continuous Performance Improvement within the Project Controls Team.  Be conversant with the contract between EnerMech and the Client.  Advise on budgets, cash flow requirements etc.  Provide line management with information as appropriate to act in a proactive manner.  Preparation of all project and corporate weekly and monthly reporting requirements.  Requirements Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering, Business Management, Quantity Surveying or  similar.  Experience in a planning, cost control, project controls role or an engineering discipline function involved in producing schedules, cost estimates, proposals or similar.  Commercial and contractual diligence.  Skilled in the use of Primavera and other related software packages  Minimum 10 years experience, working within a project controls or commercial environment for an oil & gas contractor.   Risk analysis/awareness.   Preferred:  Project Management and delivery vs deadlines.  Advanced Microsoft Office skills.  Behaviors and Personal Qualities Essential:  Conducts and/or supervises complex tasks requiring advanced knowledge of key skills or a thorough working knowledge of a range of key skills.  Develops wide range of collaborative links within the organization, actively seeking opportunities to extend network.  Participates appropriately in the identification of hazards, the assessment of risk and the identification of required control measures.  Generates new ideas and is good at putting them into a wider context.  Identifies and considers conflicting or ambiguous data in problem-solving.  Manages progress against schedule and monitors against quality standards.  Demonstrates ability to interpret relevant commercial and/or legal obligations of role.  Demonstrates good knowledge and understanding of HSE behaviors and expectations. Preferred:  Provides technical coaching / professional guidance and assists in the development of others.  Looks for opportunities before being asked and presents new ideas or approaches.  Deals effectively with pressure and conflicting priorities.  Works to develop team spirit and cooperation.

Qualifications - 3-5 years of proven sales experience in petrochemical, oil & gas, or industrial chemical sectors. - Must have existing sales, clients for chemicals ( e.g IPA, Cyclohexane, EDC, Glycerol, Monomers, Phenol, acetone etc.) - Strong understanding of petrochemical products (e.g., base oils, solvents, lubricants, additives). - Existing network of industrial clients in the UAE or GCC is a strong plus. - Valid UAE driving license is Plus. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools. - Fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu (Arabic is a plus).
