About the Role:  At Sunreef Yachts, we'relooking for a skilled Marine Mechanical Systems Designer to join our design team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge, custom-built catamarans. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality 2D technical drawings and 3D system designs that support the seamless integration of mechanical and piping systems across our yachts. You will play a key part in ensuring that all systems are accurately routed, clearly documented, and optimized for efficient production and installation.   Note: This position is focused on the yachting industry. Oil & gas or offshore profiles will not be considered.  Main Responsibilities  Produce 2D production drawings for mechanical, piping, and system installations (supports, penetrations, thru-hulls, etc.)  Assist in the 3D design and routing of onboard mechanical systems  Collaborate with the system engineers to ensure drawings reflect technical intent and production feasibility  Extract and annotate sections and installation views from 3D models  Ensure compliance with internal standards and class requirements (ISO, RINA, etc.)  Integrate feedback from production and commissioning phases  Requirements Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical or marine engineering/design  Previous experience in yacht or ship mechanical system design Solid command of SolidWorks (Routing knowledge is a plus)  Proficient in 2D production drafting (SolidWorks Drawing or AutoCAD)  Ability to read and generate installation-oriented drawings  Strong understanding of marine installation constraints (tight spaces, access, weight, materials)  Organized, accurate, and solution-oriented  Proficient in English (technical level) 

• Key Accountabilities: o Ensure that all works are conducted to the highest safety and quality standards and in line with regulations. o Manage effective stock control processes and ensure optimum stock levels are maintained. o Monitor progress and quality of work, managing performance, and planning and managing resource levels, including the on-call rota. Through managing and encouraging the training and development of the team and being a positive agent for change. o Assist the Facilities Manager in developing a first-class service to support complex, multi- disciplined sites and the requirements of the client. o Coordinate with operations so all activities meet and integrate with the group’s requirements for HSEQ, legal and statutory requirements and general duty of care. o Coordinate and update work orders in the CAFM system. o Complete all reports as required by the FM and clients. o Develop and prepare all periodic progress, engineering, and management reports, as required. o Support the FM when new policies and procedures and implemented and KPI's and SLA's need to be monitored. • Integrated Management System (IMS) Accountabilities: o To ensure all activities (including subcontractors) is carried out in conformance with IMS policies and procedures. o Ensuring H & S hazards and Environmental aspects are identified and managed. o Authorization and provision of necessary resources for IMS o Ensure training needs are identified, relevant training organized and monitor the training effectiveness. o Participate in accidents / incidents and near misses’ investigation and take corrective actions. o Provide feedback to management on IMS performance. o To stop (or take appropriate actions) the work/activities being carried out in case of HSE violations/Unsafe acts o Conduct H&S inspection as required. o Monitor and follow up on IMS inspections/audits/SAG Feedback o Monitor the emergency preparedness and response plan. o Promote awareness and contribute towards Don’t Walk By / Target Zero / SAG implementation. o Ensure appropriate IMS records are maintained at sites / departments.
