The senior water treatment technician is responsible for ensuring compliance with cGMP principles, ISO standards, and EHS (environment, health & safety) requirements, maintaining operations in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. In this role, the senior water treatment technician will oversee industrial and pharmaceutical utility systems within Julphar facilities. This includes identifying improvement opportunities and developing targeted action plans to enhance compliance and operational excellence. The senior water treatment technician will collaborate with the utilities manager, team leaders, engineers, and fellow technicians to execute design and engineering projects, ensuring they are completed within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Additionally, the role includes providing technical guidance and leadership to colleagues, ensuring thoroughness, accuracy, and reliability in all aspects of plant and equipment operation and maintenance. Key Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. • Implement, configure, and optimize Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory to fit business needs. • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Oversee VAT filings, tax compliance, and adherence to UAE financial regulations. • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to guide management decisions. • Monitor inventory valuation, product costing, and COGS using Zoho Inventory. • Collaborate with operations, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate financial integration within Zoho. • Develop and generate customized Zoho Books financial reports for management. • Provide training and support to staff on Zoho accounting and inventory features. • Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA is a plus). • Proven experience with Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory (minimum 3 years, especially in Accounting/Finance modules). • Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in FMCG or Food & Beverage. • Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT compliance. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description Implement the PPM program and schedule of all kitchen and laundry equipment in the hotel. Follow up on local authority requirement maintenance plan for kitchen equipment. Keep record and coordinate with the hygiene manager to ensure all requirements are fulfilled for HACCP. Attend to repairs and maintenance of laundry equipment and kitchen equipment - both electric and gas. Be responsible for operation, repairs, and maintenance of all cold rooms, fridge units, ice machines, and other refrigerated systems. Be responsible for operation, repairs, and maintenance of all ovens, dishwashers, stoves, and other electric and gas equipment in the kitchen. Provide assistance/technical know-how in the installation of new or additional kitchen equipment. Conduct routine inspections of kitchen and bar areas and log all observations. Perform daily log readings of cold rooms and other refrigerated equipment, ensuring proper operation of the equipment. Perform equipment repairs as per manufacturer's recommendations. Perform assigned checklists, inspections, testing, and log readings. Check and replace fused lights in the kitchen. Check and replace water filters for coffee machines, combi ovens, ice machines, and other water systems. Perform general and emergency repairs and maintenance to all kitchen equipment. Ensure fire and engineering safety features operate at peak efficiency. Ensure proper records relating to all plant and equipment are kept. Review daily log book, rectify or follow up on all items left unsolved from previous shifts in relation to kitchen equipment, systems, and units. Perform daily tasks and assignments and ensure that tasks are done in a reasonable time frame and to the standard set by the Engineering Department. Ensure all requests for maintenance are carried out within an acceptable time frame. Liaise and supervise kitchen equipment contractors and ensure that appropriate standards are met. Assist other engineering associates when required. Maintain all tools and equipment in good condition. Ensure adequate stock of spare parts and materials. Adhere to safe operation of all plant equipment and ensure the safety of guests and staff at all times. Desired Skill & Expertise Minimum 5 years experience as a kitchen technician in a 4/5-star hotel. Should have knowledge of both hot and cold kitchen equipment repair and maintenance like chillers, freezers, dishwashers, glass washers, gas cooking equipment, and all types of ovens. Knowledgeable of various brands of kitchen equipment. Capable of performing ARC and gas welding. Familiar with HACCP.
