ShareWe are seeking a meticulous and organized Document Controller to manage and oversee our document management system. The Document Controller will be responsible for maintaining, organizing, and ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of important documents and records. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines Key Responsibilities: 1. Document Management: 1.1. Develop and maintain an efficient document control system to manage electronic and hard copy documents. 1.2. Ensure all documents are correctly classified, stored, and easily retrievable. 1.3. Monitor the status of documents and update tracking systems 1.4. Assist the team with proper stamping and seal requests as per process set by management. 1.5. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the document control function, implementing solutions to optimize workflows. 2. Compliance and Quality Assurance: 2.1. Ensure all documentation complies with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. 2.2. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and address any discrepancies. 2. Maintain version control and ensure the use of the latest document versions. 2.4. Maintain an organised filing system for both physical and electronic documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Key Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.10 years of experience in document control, ideally in the construction, contracting or interior design industry. • Familiarity with document control standards and procedures in the construction industry. • Proficient in document control systems like Aconex, SharePoint, and EDMS. • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to manage large volumes of documents and maintain an organized filing system.
