URGENT HIRING: TEST ENGINEER

We are an Engineering manufacturing unit located in Jafza, and we are looking to hire a Test Engineer, who will be responsible for the below. If interested, you may share your CV/resume, portfolio to careers(@)primaxpumps(DOT)com The Test Engineer supports the business by delivering validation testing for new and existing dewatering pump technologies. The role is responsible for developing and conducting structured test plans, maintaining product capabilities, and supporting continuous improvement of our products to ensure high performance, safety, and reliability of dewatering solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.) Design and implement bespoke test setups and rigs for prototype evaluation. 2.) Use appropriate data acquisition systems to ensure accurate, traceable test results. 3.) Modify and fabricate components using standard workshop tools and equipment. 4.) Analyze test results and provide technical feedback to engineering teams. 5.) Support the enhancement and maintenance of the test facility infrastructure. 6.) Ensure test activities comply with health, safety, and environmental requirements. 7.) Document procedures, results, and findings in clear, structured reports. 8.) Mentor technicians, apprentices, and junior technical staff where applicable. 9.) Liaise with engineering, production, and service teams to support product validation. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Education Requirements: 1.) Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. Knowledge & Experience Requirements: 1.) Experience in pump testing or rotating machinery environments. 2.) Understanding of fluid dynamics, drive systems, and pump performance metrics. 3.) Demonstrated experience working in a hands-on technical/testing role. 4.) Familiarity with test instrumentation and data acquisition systems. 5.) Previous exposure to design validation or product development processes. Skills: 1.) Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability. 2.) Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. 3.) Good planning and problem-solving capability. 4.) High attention to detail and data integrity. 5.) Sound communication and team collaboration skills.
