Junior Data Analyst - UAE National only

Job Purpose: As the Technical Lead for the VAM System, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical design, integration, and support of the bank’s Virtual Account Management platform. This role is critical in enabling the bank to offer advanced cash and liquidity management capabilities to its corporate clients through scalable virtual account solutions. Key Responsibilities: Own the technical architecture and delivery of the VAM system, ensuring integration with core banking, payment systems, corporate online banking, other bank applications, and reconciliation platforms. Lead VAM platform implementations in collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders. Ensure smooth real-time and batch processing of transactions, including virtual-to-real mapping, virtual balances, and reconciliation. Integrate with bank channels (internet banking, host-to-host, API gateways) to enable client access to VAM functionalities. Implement standard messaging and payment formats (MT101, ISO 20022). Collaborate with product managers, operations, and corporate sales to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Lead a technical team, manage vendor development teams, and ensure code quality, performance, and scalability. Develop and maintain system documentation, data flow diagrams, and support runbooks. Ensure regulatory and internal compliance. Support UAT, SIT, and production deployment, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime. Monitor post-go-live system health and lead performance tuning and issue resolution. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering. 8+ years of experience in banking technology, including at least 3 years leading Virtual Account Management or Cash Management platform implementations. Strong knowledge of transaction banking, cash pooling, liquidity management, reconciliation, and virtual ledger systems. Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, ISO 20022, MT messages, host-to-host, and bank API integration. Working knowledge of core banking systems and their interaction with corporate platforms. Technical proficiency in Java, Oracle DB, SOAP/REST APIs, XML, JSON, SQL, and messaging queues (Kafka, MQ) is an advantage. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

The Business Analyst II plays a key role in analyzing business needs and supporting product development through comprehensive documentation. The role involves gathering requirements, conducting gap analyses, and preparing clear, actionable documentation to support solution delivery. Key Responsibilities Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, interviews, and workshops. Analyze and document current and future business processes using BPMN. Create BRDs, FRDs, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Design wireframes, mockups, and user flows to visualize features. Define MVP scopes and break down epics into backlog items. Collaborate with developers to clarify business logic and constraints. Review test cases and support UAT, defect tracking, and validation. Manage requirement changes and maintain version control. Lead stakeholder walkthroughs and demos to confirm requirement fulfillment. Prepare SOPs, user manuals, and onboarding materials. Contribute to RFPs, RFQs, and bid evaluations. Ensure consistent communication with stakeholders and project teams. Participate in Agile ceremonies and support cross-functional alignment. May mentor junior analysts. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Business Analysis certification (e.g., CCBA, BPMN); Scrum certification is a plus. 2–5 years in business analysis with exposure to Agile practices. Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Proficiency in Jira, MS Office, Visio, and understanding of SDLC. Detail-oriented, adaptable, and team-focused. Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Liaise with application providers to define new requirements, address system bugs, and implement issue resolutions in a timely manner. Coordinate with telecommunications providers to manage and maintain internet connectivity and service reliability. • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Develop and periodically test disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Ensure minimal downtime during system failures or cyber incidents. • Innovation & Optimization Identify and implement new technologies to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. Support digital onboarding, mobile app development, and payment gateway integrations. • Team Leadership & Training Supervise IT staff, foster skill development, and encourage a culture of innovation. Deliver regular cybersecurity awareness programs for employees. Skills & Experience Type Requirements Experience 5+ years experience in Exchange House out of which 3+ years in IT management role within financial services preferably in Exchange House Education Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field Certifications CCNA certification CISSP, CISA preferred Technical Skills Implementing Security Projects such as NAC, PAM, IAM etc. Preparing Network Diagrams, Network administration of Cisco Firewalls, WIFI Access points.
