Senior Solution Architect | Leading UAE bank

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect with proven expertise in designing and implementing high-performance, resilient, and secure architecture solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in defining, building, and enforcing architectural standards while working across agile, platform, infrastructure, and data teams. Role Overview: The SSA will contribute to developing, implementing, and enforcing common enterprise architecture and solution standards to support a secure, resilient, and agile architecture aligned with the client’s business strategy. The position requires expertise in solution design, architectural best practices, and cross-functional collaboration within an agile environment. Location: Dubai, UAE Availability: Immediate or within 30 days Key Responsibilities: Domain & Architecture Competencies: Design highly available, reliable, and secure systems for large-scale API and event-based workloads. Develop and enforce solutions aligned with internal architecture standards and patterns. Deliver prototypes and proofs of concept to validate approaches and technologies. 5+ years of experience designing cloud-native microservices applications. Retail banking domain expertise, specifically in customer onboarding, credit cards, or loans. Technical Competencies: Expertise in designing cloud-native, microservices-based, containerized applications. Deep understanding of architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, saga, pub-sub, circuit-breaker). Proficient in API gateways, authorization protocols, IDP, CI/CD pipelines, OpenShift, and Azure Cloud. Experience with enterprise architecture tools and data modeling tools. Stay updated with trends to recommend cutting-edge solutions. Behavioral Competencies: Delivery-focused while balancing customer experience, business needs, performance, and security.
