Our company is looking for a bus attendant. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. Responsibilities for bus attendant Diffuse difficult situations in a positive manner and with respect to the needs of the passengers Ensure safe and clean vehicle condition at the start and end of each shift Communicate effectively with dispatch or central office personnel via two way radio Assist operators in navigating and finding locations where necessary Ensures the safe loading and unloading of students to and from destinations, to include operation of specialized equipment for attending to students with special needs, including car seats, wheelchairs, seat belts, lifts, and/or other applicable equipment Monitors daily school bus activities to ensure proper student conduct at all times, and adherence to acceptable standards for the District. Exhibits strong communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration with kitchen staff.
