Junior Accountant

Job Title: Junior Accountant Location: Dubai, UAE Salary: AED 4,500 – 6,500 per month Employment Type: Full-Time ? Job Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our financial operations, maintain accurate records, and assist in ensuring compliance with UAE Corporate Tax (CT) and VAT regulations. The ideal candidate will have a foundational knowledge of accounting principles and a willingness to grow within a fast-paced business environment. Key Responsibilities * Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping and general ledger entries * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports * Manage accounts payable and receivable * Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies * Handle UAE VAT filings, payments, and compliance * Ensure proper documentation for Corporate Tax (CT) purposes and filings * Assist in internal and external audits * Prepare payroll and manage related accounting entries * Liaise with external consultants, tax authorities, and banks as needed * Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * Professional certifications preferred: ACCA / CPA / CA / CMA (part or fully qualified) * Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience in the UAE * Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and Corporate Tax (CT) regulations * Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally, or similar) * Advanced MS Excel skills * Fluent in English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus * High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently --- What We Offer Competitive salary: AED 4,500 – 6,500 per month, depending on experience Annual leave and end-of-service benefits as per UAE labor law Supportive and growth-oriented work environment Apply Now
