Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee accounts & administrative tasks for our eCommerce business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and experience in administration and managing inventory. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and optimizing inventory processes to support business growth. Key Responsibilities Accounting Responsibilities: Prepare and manage financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Reconcile accounts payable/receivable with inventory records and sales data. Monitor and manage COGS, inventory valuation, and gross margin calculations. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary documentation. Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting based on inventory and sales data. Manage end-of-month and year-end financial closures related to inventory. Chase Clients for Payments Maintain inventory records Manage procurement processes, including purchase orders and supplier communication. Conduct periodic inventory audits and resolve discrepancies. Utilize Odoo analytics to forecast inventory needs and optimize stock levels. Implement and maintain batch/serial tracking for specific product categories. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in accounting and/or inventory management roles. Proficiency in Odoo or similar inventory management systems is required. Advanced knowledge of accounting software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and their integration with Odoo (e.g., Shopify, Amazon) is a plus. Key Skills: Financial reporting and reconciliation. Inventory planning and demand forecasting. Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools. Effective communication and team collaboration. Knowledge of tax compliance and accounting standards.
