Description

Key Responsibilities Oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions for the company. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with UAE accounting standards. Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in QuickBooks. Monitor cash flow, forecast financial performance, and provide management with actionable insights. Handle VAT computation, filing, and compliance in accordance with UAE laws. Coordinate with external auditors and manage year-end audit processes. Implement and maintain strong internal control systems to safeguard company assets. Liaise with project teams to monitor project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting for construction/contracting activities. Ensure compliance with all legal, tax, and regulatory requirements. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA qualification preferred). Experience: Minimum 10 years’ accounting experience in the UAE, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Industry Knowledge: Strong background in construction/contracting company accounts. Software Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Office (especially Excel). Languages: Proficiency in English is a must; knowledge of Hindi/Tamil/Malayalam is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
