Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician (Grade-A) to join our Facilities Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex HVAC systems—including water-cooled centrifugal chillers—to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and efficient school environment. Key Responsibilities: Operation & Maintenance: Operate and maintain water-cooled centrifugal chillers from leading brands such as York, Trane, McQuay, Daikin, and Carrier. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems, including: Pool chillers Chilled water pumps Fresh air and recirculating air handling units (AHUs) Fan coil units (FCUs) Ventilation fans Chemical dosing systems Operate and monitor chiller plant manager systems and the Building Management System (BMS). Ensure reliable functioning of cooling towers, RO plants, and other plant equipment. Conduct troubleshooting and repair work to minimize downtime. Campus Support & Coordination: Support daily operations during school hours and special events. Coordinate with the school operations team to ensure smooth facilities support during school activities. Complete all other duties assigned by the reporting manager, in line with the school's operational needs. Requirements: Diploma / ITI (2-year program) in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 5 to 8 years of experience in the UAE or GCC, with minimum 4 years in the operation and maintenance of water-cooled centrifugal chillers and cooling towers. Proficiency in reading technical manuals, service documentation, and understanding HVAC schematics. Familiarity with BMS systems and chiller plant manager software. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment. Good communication skills in English.
