HORECA Manager – FMCG (Food Sector)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced HORECA Manager to lead our sales and business development within the Hotel, Restaurant, Catering, and Café (HORECA) sector. The role focuses on building strong partnerships, expanding market presence, and driving revenue growth for our food brands in the foodservice industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a HORECA sales strategy to achieve revenue, distribution, and profitability targets.
• Build, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with key clients, including hotels, restaurants, catering companies, and cafés.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the HORECA channel.
• Lead contract negotiations on pricing, credit terms, and service agreements.
• Collaborate with trade marketing to develop channel-specific promotions, menus, and product activations.
• Manage, coach, and motivate the HORECA sales team to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor sales performance, conduct business reviews, and ensure execution of brand plans.
• Work closely with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure product availability and service excellence.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the foodservice sector.
• Provide regular reports, sales forecasts, and actionable insights to senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 3 years in HORECA management.
• Strong network of relationships with hotels, restaurants, catering companies, and cafés.
• Proven record of driving growth and achieving sales targets in the HORECA channel.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze data, spot trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM systems.
• Self-motivated, commercially savvy, and results-driven.
